In 2001 a new web hosting company began trading in the name of 'Saffas', providing value-based web hosting on a shared server. The hosting plans were so popular, the original single server soon grew into a cluster of almost 30 servers.

Since then, web hosting technology has moved on and it's now less about 'servers' and more about 'blades'. Our 'blades' are located at the Centro data centre in Hemel Hempstead which has the distinct advantage of being outside of the congested London grid.
