In 2001 I created a new web hosting company which began trading in the name of "Saffas". Operating from a data centre in Leeds, our original server soon grew into a cluster of almost 30 individual servers.

Since then, web hosting technology has moved on and it's now less about 'servers' and more about 'blades' and 'racks'. Our 'blades' are now located at the Centro data centre in Hemel Hempstead which is outside of the congested London grid.
